What is MOPS?

MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers.

We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another.

We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.

Get involved!

Get in touch!

The best way to get involved with a MOPS group is to contact them at mops@redhousebc.com. Let them know you’re interested in trying out their group, and ask what’s coming up on their calendar.

What to expect

MOPS of Red House Baptist Church is a place where mothers of preschoolers can find friendship, support and resources as women and moms. The MOPS meeting will either have a speaker or a craft, discussion time and snacks. All while your children are being cared for in a MOPPETS class!

Who can come?

We’ve all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open. Or, if you have kids in school, MOMS next is the place to be.

For the kids

The MOPPETS program is a Vacation Bible School-type experience your kiddos will love. Your children will be broken up into classes for their age group. Babies, 1 year old, 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old-Kindergarten. Your child will have a Bible story, craft time, play time either outside on the playground or in the fellowship hall and snack time. If your child is still a newborn and you are more comfortable keeping them with you during the meeting that is allowed. All of our MOPPET workers have been background checked. Our MOPPETS classrooms are in our preschool Sunday School rooms. These are just a short walk away from the Family Life Center where the meetings are held. If your child has allergies please let us know, all our snacks have been allergy approved. If you have any questions please ask the MOPPETS Coordinator.
